Bridging TP-LINK TR-WR340G and TR-WR740N
I bought TR-WR740N, made by TP – LINK, router and also function as Wireless Access Point to extend my existing access point range which managed by TR-WR340G. I was trying to connect them up or in correct term named bridge. I found none from google explains this up so maybe quite fine to writing about it in this site.
I was almost pulling my hair connecting these two router even in same brand. I want TR-WR740N will be my main router replacing the old WR340G but I face problem to unclear firmware update from TP-Link it self, if you trying to download WR340G firmware you’ll found several firmware for different hardware version and I don’t even know what the correct version of the hardware. It’s say V2.24 but there’s no firmware for v2.24 hardware, how confusing it was. So, I download firmware for V2 hardware since 2 is the major number from versioning and guess what happen next, in the router’s web interface I can see the hardware version overwritten to version 3. Dear God.
Rebirth and GTA for Free
Everyone loves free stuff especially for games dan multimedia. Some people loves classic software but due to changes to Windows OS and hardware, some of great software in the past can’t work properly but don’t worry, the publisher giving you free download release and you can enjoy it on your PC. The best of all they provided it as full release, so no limited functionality.
I found several games and multimedia which available to download but watch out your internet connection, some of the are big download.
My site got defaced
This site got defaced and bit suprised with it. I have no idea why those index file could be written in whole directory from the root to sub directories. Restoring this site was tedious task and exhausted. I was looking to suspicious access on my log but didn’t find any unusual activity. I suspect that the attack was done by doing remote access to web folder or they could enter the root of server.
The hosting company website currently down and doesn’t have any information about it. I take a look by searching the twitter and most dotNet-host‘s customer got their site cracked even though no files are gone, they just adding index files to every directory they found. Some of them are struggling to save their domain which a valuable thing in web.
I am now full recovered and moving all my personal website into my another hosting. Unfortunately, I am not taking any screenshot before recovering my website. It was hacked by anonymous. So yeah, anonymous rules.
Samsung Galaxy Pro B 7510 Review
In last December, my wife calling me from her office. She told me about gadget exhibition in her office lobby. Honestly, I was not interested at all because there’s no cheap Android phone over there. She called me from her office and she said found Samsung Galaxy Pro for around $120 US. I thought my wife were joking, the market price is about $250. She explained about year-end sale bargain and only two units remaining. She doesn’t know about normal market price, so I asked her to get that device as soon as possible. Lucky me, I got one and it was the last unit available. She asked me about the market price and she shocked. Yeah, 50% off from market price.
This is my first Android phone and my last phone is Samsung Candy Bar GT-C3010S. I am kinda Samsung mobile fans, it was start when Samsung could understand SMS (text messaging) from Sony Ericsson and Nokia in early days. Nokia SMS format always received as funny text in SE devices.
AdSense akhirnya mendukung Bahasa Indonesia
Sudah sekian lama menunggu kehadiran dukungan AdSense terhadap Bahasa Indonesia akhirnya hari ini terwujud sudah. Saya mengetahui kabar ini dari Twitter tim AdSense Indonesia (@IDadsense) beberapa jam yang lalu dan saya cukup gembira dengan kabar baik ini. Kiranya kesempatan yang diberikan kepada kita ini akan membantu publisher dan blogger Indonesia untuk membuat konten yang menarik lagi, serta semakin menyemarakan dunia internet Indonesia. Mudah – mudahan kita memanfaatkan dengan baik dengan cara – cara yang tepat guna dan sesuai dengan aturan – aturan AdSense.
